Music

I love music!!!

There is no doubt about it…to me it is a direct reflection of each and everyone of us!

With music I cry, laugh, smile, think, become creative, and so much more and that is just in one song!!! Imagine listening to an album or a playlist!

Sometimes me and my friend would argue about music….he is well a math major and his statement is that math is necessary in the world but music is not.

True, I am not musically gifted as I wish I was (and am trying to be) but I completely beg to differ with my my math majored friend.

We went back and forth on the issue of music over math and to tell the truth I can see his point a little but after living and growing in a world filled with music and melodies, harmonies, and beats how can I possibly say music is not needed.

He could not seem to understand thinking from more of a math/science mind while me trying to hold the beliefs of a creative soul (mind you I am business major, but I digress).

Music has a way of saying exactly how you feel when the words can’t come…it has a way of lifting your spirits to the most high and making you feel as if you can do anything.

To me music is a breath of fresh air without I would be in….well another planet…excuse me actually another galaxy because I am pretty positive that if life is on the other planets in the Milky Way (which I like to think there is) then they are all listening to the beat of their own drum and not just experimenting on humans.

I am beginning to babble (which I do very well) but I just wanted to get my point across which is Music, whether necessary or not (it completely is), is the best creative compliment to our lives and that it has a way of connecting others through its unique form and presentation.
