Today is Sunday!

Sunday sometimes has a hastag associated with it. #sundayfunday or #selfcaresunday

This Sunday, I’ve had a smidge of both.

• I volunteer in my church in a couple of areas but today I spent time in the nursery with the older toddlers (19 months to 23 months). This group of 1 year olds are quite a fun bunch. They are walking, dancing, playing, high-5ing, and started to talk and sing which makes praise time a truly fun time with this group.
• Also, for those that know me well…I’m a couponer! I promise I am not extreme but I do have a binder and I learn/subscribe to the Krazy Coupon Lady!! Today I went into CVS and paid only $8 with tax for a $40+ order! That’s an adrenaline rush like no other and my kind of fun!

#SelfcareSunday

• I’ve shared in a previous post a few of the ways that I practice self-care. One is cooking and today I made some homemade tortilla chips to go along with a homemade salsa. Oh yes at times I like to don the title of Chef Ciggy (#chefciggy on instagram).
• Another self-care practice for me is writing/journaling so in essence this free-write post right now is allowing me to release the things of the day in this virtual paper.

In moving forward in the remainder of this Sunday…I hope that I can continue to practice this self-care and prepare myself for the week of head. I’m grateful for what has happened so far today and what God is doing and I am looking forward to what He has  coming next.
