29 Days till Christmas!!

I am working to get back into a consistent habit of writing and I believe what works for me is a writing challenge. So here begins my 29 Days of Christmas!!

Why Christmas and why 29 days, you ask?

Great questions and here are my responses:

• Well the Christmas and holiday season overall is one of my favorites – it is a gorgeous time of the year. A season for family and friends and a time to be thankful!
• Also why must one wait till the New Year’s to start forming a new habit or get into something different?
• 29 also happens to be how old I am and it felt kismet as I thought of this idea today which if I did my calculations right is exactly 29 days from Christmas!

Though we have yet to make it into December, my holiday calendar is already booked and counting with multiple events from various white elephants, gift exchanges, meals, work and family events. I’ve counted at least 13 or so before Christmas even gets here and it is not complete just yet. During this countdown writing challenge, you will hear or rather read about many things from my random preparation for the events, how I’m doing in the midst of this busy busy season, and of course how it all fits and goes along my dream journey (FYI – writing in this challenge is hitting one of those dream goals!).
