Next Steps in November

Hi there CiggyChat readers!

It has been a minute since we talked and there has been so much going on but the big thing to share is that November is here and it is bringing next steps!

A few months back I attended a conference called Flourish…you can refer to my post about it Flourishing. And learn more about the next one in 2019 here.

Part of that conference required us to think of our next steps and they didn’t have to be these Earth-shattering giant steps but steps that can start us on to our God-given purpose and plan.

I did a small few things at that time but was not quite sure where it all was going. Though I set some things in motion I forgot about them as I kind of got stuck into the everyday scene of work and life and just trying to play catch up. In the midst of essentially forgetting my dreams, I must admit I was also starting to lose sight of who I am, you know, being a child of God and all that He’s gotten me through. I was starting to assign myself labels that didn’t belong based on a current situation, not the destiny or dream ahead of me.

If I continue to be honest with you readers I am still in the midst of shaking that spirit of fear and doubt off but it is happening and further next steps are being realized. I have made a pretty clear intent with my current role and though I have many dreams and goals to pursue, the plan is not as concrete as my human self would prefer. Though scary or excitifying (my made-up word that I like to say) this step and declaration is, it is also requiring a big leap of faith and just leaning and trusting in God. A trust and faith that I should be leaning in to daily regardless of what my circumstances appear to be.

I am learning that as I make these small steps and acts of faith, God will truly catch me and show me who He is as a Provider and Father and that I am never truly without.

And until next time,
