Goodbye 2020, Hello 2021

Can you believe it is the last week of 2020? What a year this has been! To be honest, this time last year I had no idea of what to expect for 2020. All I knew was that I wanted to pursue a bit more goals personal and business related. I’m happy to say that despite the craziness of the year the needle has moved forward in both areas. It has been a year filled with so much from a pandemic and global shut down, injustice at a breaking point where people all across the world were in protest, and the craziest presidential election in my lifetime. These are things that touched everyone and in the midst of all this I’ve dealt with job changes, family members affected by COVID-19, pursuing business endeavors and passions, and attempting to date during this strange time. With all that said, 2020, has helped me to put more things in perspective, refocus my priorities, and even though I couldn’t travel everywhere I wanted I was able to connect more with friends and family through text, phone and video calls. I am grateful for God and the people that have gotten me through this time, especially my “Golden Girls.” My sister, cousin, and I call ourselves the “Golden Girls” and I am beyond grateful that they are in my life. With these ladies I have been able to get through all this year brought (the highs, lows, tears, insecurities, and worries) and so much personal growth has happened being around them! As this year comes to a close I don’t know what to expect for 2021 but I am excited for whatever God is bringing next in my life and grateful for the community that He puts around us to get through! Wishing you all a happy and healthy New Year!!! Until next year, I’m Ciggy

I am happy to be part of the Golden girls. I am happy that we are in each other life. I love your post. It so amazing that your recording of your dream became true. I inspire to be you. You do so much with the same amount of time as me on this planet. Love you girl and keep posting. đŸ’‹
