𝄞 I’ve had the time of My Life 𝄞

Wow! Can you believe we are already halfway through 2021?!

I really can’t… but I must admit it has been a crazy good first half of the year and I am so grateful about the things that have been accomplished and even more excited about what is to come.

Let’s rewind a bit…

____________________________________________________

January – we said goodbye to 2020 and hello 2021!! We were so ready for a new year!!

February – I was excitified for what’s to come…and still am!

March & April

I was reminded that this year the plan is not to just try but do and let God’s will in my life go out. It’s crazy what happens when you let go and let God.

I was blessed to make another trip around the sun on resurrection Sunday!

May

A loooong time dream of mine has been to be an entrepreneur – a business woman and owner. May 1, 2021 I became an official entrepreneur along with my business partner, Victoria Johnson, when our LLC was incorporated, Johnson & Gore Enterprises!! It was a great day and I’m excited for our ventures with this and looking forward to telling you of the dreams we continue to make happen with this!

And I had the chance to cover my first event as a blogger @dallaspizzafest, it was so much fun, read about it here!

June

I had the chance to cover another event as a blogger for a flashback Friday kind of night at the 90s BoomBox at the Freeman Dallas where Reuben Lael along with Micah & Tony Jr sang and really took us back to the 90s with the vocals, dance moves, and just making the crowd feel alive!

I like the way they sing…
How they brought the audience in
And those dance moves!!

The very next day I had a great opportunity to host FedEx’s Juneteenth Celebration the Schooling Talent way. We had some great talent lined up by MizZ from Kyee, Reuben Lael, Rockstar Nala Bonae, Celeblarry, The Anointed Dancer, spoken word by Kevin Davis Jr. and the Performance Team from East Fort Worth Montessori Academy trained by The Joy of Music and Movement. It was a great moment to celebrate our freedom and see how far we’ve come as a people!!

A glimpse of the talent and team at the Juneteenth Celebration

I’m grateful for this time to pause and reflect on what has happened this year and honestly can’t wait for what’s to come in the next half of the year…ideally I foresee more event coverage, another dreamer interview or two, and some more milestones and dreams being achieved.

How’s your journey looking in 2021 as you follow your dreams? I would love to know more. Feel free to comment below or connect with me on Instagram.

Until next time,

I’m Ciggy
