Hi there dreamers and Happy November!

I have this superb, excited, overjoyed, and just grateful energy right now. This post is titled Godbig because I want us all to go after those extremely grand and large dreams that God instills in us. I’ve decided to share one of my recent journal entries with you to further elaborate and explain…

Journal Entry from Saturday, October 30, 2021

OMG…I can’t stop crying today and it’s not sad tears at all. It’s happy praise-God tears. Its tears of joy, excitement, and amazement at his miracle-working power and how He manifests things in His time frame and today I got to get a glimpse at His Omnipresence self.

Today I got to see a dream fulfilled. It wasn’t my own but it was a dream that I saw a glimpse of back in October 2015 and in October 2021 that dream is real – no longer just a vision and a quick drawing in my notebook but a real physical tangible thing. What’s more, only God could have made it happen in this way. This dream fulfilled was the dream of two people I know and they both have been working on it for a long time but it came in not their timing but in God’s timing which is the PERFECT timing. In August 2016 one of the dreamers had a vision about it and today they realized they were standing in their vision and how God had worked things all out….

(I’m going to pause to let that sink in for a moment)

Oh my goodness it is so crazy that God made these dreamers take leaps of faith and though they knew what they wanted….they didn’t see how and when God was going to do it but He did and y’all it was the right time.

Even though this dream wasn’t my personal dream I’ve been praying and believing in it for a long time and today when I got to see it with my own eyes….tears immediately came to them. Like I said I had a vision of this back in 2015…at that time I was in Flagstaff, AZ working at a university. However I felt without a doubt God calling me to Dallas, TX. For some reason, though I never lived here before, my spiritual guidance was coming from this place…first through the Inspiring Body of Christ and then through my current home church, Covenant Church. So even though I didn’t know what God had for me here I took a leap of faith and submitted my resignation to leave my current role at the end of the school year with no job or even apartment lined up and told myself that I would be in Dallas, TX by July 2016….

I was in Dallas, TX by the end of June 2016 in a job at another university with a home. It was a blessing and of course God doing His thing…

Though I still didn’t know what God had planned for me, I was here…

Fast forward to today I think I finally know. I’ve always had faith and believed in God but today I feel like it is on a whole other level. Today I felt like IT was done and this is why.

…You’re probably wondering what…what was IT… well IT was…

It was learning about fully going after the Godbig dreams in life.

What is a Godbig dream you ask? Well it is a term I just created. People have dreams and they are great and all but our dreams do not even compare to how big God’s dreams are for us? Honestly it’s sometimes even too big for us to fathom. So those scary big dreams you have…that you may not want to share as they seem to farfetch….well guess what they are only a portion of the Godbig dreams in our life. Once you realize that God’s will and plan for your life is much bigger than you can even imagine you must go after your “farfetch dreams” to get yourself in alignment with those Godbig dreams.

I’m excited today because today I can’t stop praising God for making dreams come true and being able to witness how He did it…like I said this specific dream has been envisioned for the past 5 to 6 years in some form or fashion but the journey that took place in order to make today a reality…well it’s been filled with ups and downs, twists and turns, laughter, tears, breakthroughs and even a pandemic along the way but it is here and I got to be a witness. I’m grateful for this and excited to be on the journey and ready for the next stop along the way!!

So fellow dreamers, I ask you to

Keep going and Don’t stop

Even if the thing that you have been focusing on hasnt happened yet, don’t be discouraged and trust God’s timing.

Be thankful for where you are right now

It is all a part of the journey and your beautiful story to tell.

Encourage and uplift one another

I believe there is power in telling your dreams to others and offering and sharing encouraging words to each other. Our dreams are not just for ourselves and you never know what your dream may do for another so share and uplift.
