Happy Mother’s Day!!!

I just wanted to send a big Happy Mother’s Day to all of the wonderful women in my life.

It’s not just my own momma that I think of today…

My own momma is absolutely hilarious, honest, loving, so incredibly understanding, and continues to be someone that I can always go to in times of need even if we are miles apart.

…but it’s also my Ma, Nana, my many Aunties, my Sisters, Friends, Cousins, my Godmother, and even my pastors, some mothers, and even mothers-to-be.

I have been truly blessed to be surrounded by amazing women in my life. It’s because of the ladies in my life that I have the courage and strength to go after so many of my dreams.

These ladies have supported me, encouraged me, prayed for me, and helped me along the way. They have given me advice, tough love, and comfort all in the same sitting. They step in and up for me at all times whether they are blood or not. They have been role models in my life and play such an important role to me. Some know it and some I don’t tell nearly enough how much they mean to me but they do.

It’s not always about the big moments but the seemingly small ones that mean so much to me.

• It’s the random text just to say I love you,
• its the first college sweatshirt that you bought for me,
• it’s the photos you shared when we were younger,
• it’s the impromptu beauty treatments we did together,
• it’s the random dance parties and binge-watching of a show together,
• it’s the meals we shared out and about whether it’s a small slice of pizza or fine dining,
• its the wisdom you shared in conversations about love life, success, friendship, and finances,
• it’s the moments we both felt safe to confide in each other,
• It’s the laughs we had, tears we shed, and even the silent moments of just being present together.

So to all of you Mature, Open-hearted, and Magnetic women out there, I want you to have a beyond lovely day, filled with the joy, love, peace, and care that you give to so many others!!!
