An adventure in time…

Hi there dreamers!

It’s been a minute…I have no idea how time is flying by so fast…

I’m honestly talking about 2024 (like how is it possible that its already been more than 200 days in…) but life as well. I’ve heard someone say the older we get the faster time flies…
Don’t get me wrong though I’m still young (I’ll probably claim that when I’m in my 80s too) but I lived some life too and I’m so grateful.

So today’s post is more about sharing an adventure in time two ways:
A lookback at some of my blogs of yesteryear
And a 24-HR Adventure in A-Town (my current city) with a friend from my college years

Blogs of YesterYear
CiggyChat (the blog you’re currently reading) is the OG if you will. I was definitely a journaler before this (still kind of am). I think I had recently seen The Perfect Man with Hillary Duff love her by the way (hope to meet one day) and she had a blog (online journal, if you will) in that film. I was in college recently branded with my new (at the time) nickname Ciggy and thus CiggyChat was born!

Nashville Interns – This was the summer of 2011 and probably one of my favorite blogs I’ve created! It was my first take of really diving into vlogging if you will – though little to no editing was done and just a fun summer! Hope to bring a bit more videos and vlogs to Ciggy Chat in the future.

Imagination Creation was probably very short-lived but I hope to bring it back. It was my storytelling blog if you will – letting my imagination run free lol. I even started it off trying to use a pseudonym (Zoe)

Rena in Reslife – this one is probably the most recent of my other blogs and still rings true today surprisingly. I’ve kind of been excited intrigued by residence life for over 20 years now (that is crazy to say but very true). It started with college camp aka CTY and wanting to be an RA in the program which somehow led me to pursue my higher ed degree so I can work in Reslife and that is when this blog got started and went along my reslife journey…

A-Town in A Day
I’ve lived in Hotlanta for a little over 2 years now but I feel like you never get to take the time to explore the place you actually stay unless well visitors come!! So when my friend, Mizxtina, who I’ve known since freshmen year, and her husband came to town I was beyond ecstatic to see them and explore this city together. These two have their own Vlog called Roaming The World With You which is so cool and I’m so grateful I got the opportunity to explore this cool city in 24 hours with them!!
