…when you’re tackling your dreams, dreamers! Hey there dreamers – new and past! For those that may be new to the blog, a quick intro since it has been a minute. Hi there dreamers!! Today’s a good day. It’s Easter Sunday and my birthday. It’s the day that Jesus rose again. It’s a time of resurrection for the dreams that God has instilled in you that you thought were gone. I’m excited for this time and grateful to celebrate my birthday on this day. Lately I would start a conversation about something I want to do or achieve with the words “I’ll try” and my sister would stop me and say “Don’t try, do.” I appreciate it because it has helped me to be a bit more intentional with what I’m doing. Today happens to be one of my favorite dreamers’ birthday, William Graham the III, more popularly known as Turtle Will of the True Turtle Empire! To me he’s my not-so-little brother aka my broham! Over a decade ago, he became my role model when he published his first book as a teenager. Since then he has truly stepped into his role as a verbal artist creating stories through music, spoken word, comedy, spoofs, sequels, and scripts! Everyone please join me in saying Happy Birthday to my momma!!! Today is her 12th birthday (wink wink). We have a secret formula where this makes so much sense! Anyway I just wanted to take a moment to recognize and celebrate the life of this woman. She has been a wonderful mother to my brother, Turtle Will, and I. She has believed in us, encouraged us, and taught us right from wrong. She continues to be a great mom to us though we are both grown adults. Hello CiggyChat Readers! Today is my birthday!! I am in the tail end of my 20s aka I am 29 today!
