Something Big
Every so often I get this feeling that something big is coming. It is typically not about me but in this moment something is in the air and I feel something big is coming. I have no absolute clue exactly hat is about to happen. Yet in my mind, I think it is going to be positive and about some serious breakthroughs or new developments for those around me. Day 3 – Race to Keep Up
Of what you may ask? Not another blogging challenge but of this academic semester. That is right…this is a Rena in Reslife report. We have simply rolled straight from training, into opening, into the school year and it is moving at 80+ miles an hour. Ideally you like to believe that once the school year starts you can be in a routine and in the swing of things but in all honesty I still feel like I am playing catch up with all the things from the past month. We did it – Post 100!!
Can you believe it!! We made it to the end of this project!!! 100 posts in 100+ days or 4 and a half months (there may have been a few breaks along the way) but it was achieved! 100 posts in Not only is it post 100 but in my reslife world it is also new student move in day and we did that as well! This is my 6th year as a full-time professional working a move-in and my 10th overall in my reslife career so far! Do you know that feeling when the next show is about to start in the midst of your binge session on Netflix or Hulu? Or when you’re heading to a new website or app on your phone? Living in the Moment
Full disclosure I absolutely struggle to do this: living in the moment. It makes sense though if you’ve read the tag line of this blog, I’m a dreamer! I’m constantly thinking of what is to come and will be. I think that is great in times of planning and preparing for the future but what about the current moment I’m in. It’s important too. Momentum
Hi there CiggyChat readers! I can’t believe we are so close to the end of the 100 day project (more like 100+ days there were a few hiccups and breaks along the way). In being a dreamer, it is quite easy to dream and dream and well dream some more. However, the part I am looking forward to is achieving the dreams, accomplishing the goals you set for yourself. Accomplishing the small goals will continue to give you the momentum for the bigger goals and dreams. Just wanted to share my thoughts as I get near the end. Vision Board
Today, was the day! My friend, Mayra, had her vision board networking event and it was such a great success! The space was packed with a wonderful group of people ready to embark on this intentional process. We reflected on past accomplishments, our mantras and set goals in all aspects of lives prior to getting to the crafty fun that came with creating our vision boards! Cluttered Mind
Hi there readers, It is quite late for me and my mind is a bit cluttered. I did some work today straightening up my home but I need to set some time to fully declutter my physical spaces.
